STEP 3: Create a Sneaker List
STEP 4: Take that first step in your list toward your goal
STEP 5: Share your story and/or photos from your experience
STEP 6: Notice how much less daunting the next step on your list now seems!

Why a list?

Simple! Because big goals are daunting and small steps are doable! You are more likely to take the steps toward your goal when all you have to focus on is the small step in front of you. And before you know it, you will have taken all the steps toward your ultimate goal!

What’s up with Sneakers?

The Sneaker Experiment started with an idea by our founder, Lisa, that she had always been the kid in the white sneakers growing up. Those sneakers stayed white throughout her childhood and early adulthood because she lived a cautious life, preferring to remain safely inside her comfort zone. However, she longed for more. She wanted to experience the highs that came along with the lows, even though it was scary. And so, she created The Sneaker Experiment for herself as a way to break down her own personal goals into small and less daunting steps. It was through her journey taking those steps that she finally got her literal and figurative sneakers dirty!
